Knowing when your next start is can make all the difference in your preparation. Some coaches may not inform you until just before the game. Either way, your pre-game prep won’t change much…but what if you had that extra day to plan your start? What should you do?
EXERCISE
Knowing that you will be using all of your body’s energy the next day, take it easy on your body. Instead of working out or endurance running, try running 10 wind sprints to get your blood flowing, then call it a day. Throw lightly, but again, keep it light, relaxed but concentrate on your target. Get your mind and eyes focus on hitting a spot.
